Some of us come to church by ourselves, some come with family and friends.  Some of us have recently chosen this church as a place for nurturing spiritual growth and community, and others were raised here. Some of us are youth who are trying to find our way, and others are young adults who are deciding what to remember and what’s next.  Some of us have lived through many seasons of joys and losses; others are still trying to figure it all out.  Some of us are happiest when we’re active and working; others appreciate the freedom to remain in quiet contemplation.  None of us is perfect, but all are equal, grateful recipients of grace.

The parish community comprises both visitors and regulars, and together we reflect the rural community in which we live.  In our church you will find students, administrators, dancers, farmers, teachers, quilters,  bloggers, engineers, cooks, workers in the health professions, full-time mothers, accountants, librarians, hikers, bikers, artists, elder-care workers, computer talents, vacuum experts, media developers, and those enjoying their retirements.  It is a diverse, all-ages congregation in which you can feel at home.

We worship together in a striking stone church building designed by New York City architect Henry Congdon  as an example of the Gothic Revival movement. The beautiful sanctuary and chapel are filled with luminous stained glass windows and warm woodwork.  We’re in the center of the village of Greene where we have ample parking, an elevator for easy access, and downstairs meeting rooms of assorted sizes.  You can’t miss the tall steeple, adjacent chapel, slate roof, and grey stone exterior — come on over.
